Service Description:

Drainage is the network of rivers, streams and creeks in which water transport after a rain shower. The river network may have different forms and patterns depending on bedrock, soil, gradient and sediment load. The drainage network is usually lined by lush vegetation or irrigated fields. The data in the current base map update is based on DTM from aerial photographs acquired in 2008/09. The layer has 4 levels of rivers hyrarchy.
